This week my husband and I went thrifting and found some items to add to my blue and white collection. We found this blue Delft mug that I thought was so pretty! Now, I don’t know anything about the value of the things that I collect, I just know that if I like it, and the price is right, I buy it!
Not everything that we found was blue Delft, but they all looked so nice together, so we bought several pieces.

This heart candle holder was so pretty, too, but I wish that I could read the markings that are on the bottom.

We also found a couple of salt and pepper shakers. There are no markings on the bottom of them, but they fit with the theme of the blue Delft pieces.

Following with the Holland theme was this tiny shoe!

Nest is a vase that also has the Holland theme on one side. The other side has some blue flowers painted on it. There were not any markings on the bottom of the vase, either.

The rest of the items do not fit with the Holland theme, but they are blue and white, so they still look pretty together! Here is another mug. It just says made in England on the bottom.

Next, is an elegant Victorian lady in the shape of a bell.

Last is this pair of figurines. Aren’t they a beautiful couple?

The best part of this find was the price. Only $5.00 for the whole bunch!

I have them spread out throughout my living room and it looks so nice! In January I like to get out my blue transferware to use and I like to decorate my living room in blue and white.
Very nice write-up. I definitely appreciate this site. Thanks!
Thank you for all of your nice comments! Have a great day!
